Uninstall

To remove nixmac:

1. Quit the nixmac app
2. Delete nixmac from your Applications folder
3. Your nix-darwin configuration at ~/.darwin/ remains — you can continue using it with darwin-rebuild directly

To also remove Nix, use the uninstall path for the installer you used. For Determinate Nix installs, see the Determinate Nix Installer uninstall instructions.

If you want to stop using the nix-darwin configuration before uninstalling Nix, first restore your previous system state with the nix-darwin tools you used to activate it. Deleting nixmac does not delete ~/.darwin/, remove Nix, or undo Homebrew packages installed by your configuration.
